Robyn Rihanna Fenty also called Rihanna by Barbadians, is a songwriter and singer. Her hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in the prime of her youthful years, she's already sold over 140 million records and 41 million tracks across the globe, becoming one of the best-selling artists ever. Her parents hail from Barbados and she began singing at a young age. As a way to get away from her parents' tensions and also her parent's constant disputes and arguments, she began to sing. The group she formed was a musical one while still in high school and got an opportunity to take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed with the talent of the young girl. He requested that she relocate into New York and pursue a singing career full-time. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. Rihanna rapidly became a household name when she released her debut album. Her uplifting songs became favorites among the young who pushed her into the world of film. She is a young, accomplished woman, who is now a style icon and a teenager icon. Rihanna uses her fame to the fullest extent her popularity and is a supporter of many charitable causes.
