Awkwafina
Awkwafina began as a American musician and rapper releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via the trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop training began as she was just a teenager. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies, and was studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. After graduating, it wasn't until that she turned her attention to music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also included viral hits, such as body-positive Queef & winking home tour NYC BitcheUSD. This song is directly connected to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. As a musician and an author in her portfolio, she decided to set her sights on acting in a third project. Aside from early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
