Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She comes from Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out of four siblings. She became interested in acting as a ten year old, after she performed a singing role in the school's Christmas show. Her school productions included plays as well as local community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Following her graduation she had to make a decision. She was unsure if she should go in New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree in film and TV? Linda chose LA. Linda was first cast as a part in Bone Chillers (1996). The year 1999 saw her land her first major role as Lindsay Weir, a character from the show Freaks and Geeks. Lindsay Weir played the academic decathlete in the cult show, for which she won one Emmy Award.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James has a profession as an English actor. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut in the British TV show Just William (2010). Cinderella was her first big part after her role in the role of the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James then played the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the television version of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films. They include the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). Her character in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
